HANDBELL ENTHUSIASTS
HOW DO I MAKE IT HAPPEN
Here's how it works.
We provide:
- The complete show and/or workshop (or both!)
- Camera-ready artwork made especially for you
- Our travel costs
- Our mailing list
- Our publicist's list of media contacts for your area
- A mailing of our press release to that media list (and we'll help you
follow up on this)
- Our step-by-step how-to guide on being a Campanile Promoter
- We work with you every step of the way to make sure that your adventure as
a Campanile Promoter is as fun and profitable as possible.
Here's where you come in:
- You find a venue, a place for us to play. It can be your church community
hall, your local middle school or high school auditorium, a community theatre,
college theatre or student union hall. Any place you have free or inexpensive
access to. Our performing area must be at least 26X30 feet, and we must have
access to power within 50 feet of the performing area.
- You find a date that works for you, for Campanile, and for the folks who
control the venue.
- We have our artist create a flyer with all the information for your show,
and send you the camera-ready copy.
- You print and send the flyer to:
* Everyone you ever met in your life
* Your local AGEHR newsletter and the Overtones editor
* Everyone in your area on Campanile's mailing list (we'll provide)
and your own.
- You hand at least 10 tickets (we'll provide) to each person in your bell
group and make sure they sell them to their friends and family, plus the
people who call in because of the publicity you did.
- We show up and do the show, you show up and collect the money.
