HANDBELL ENTHUSIASTS
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Space | 26' deep by 30' wide minimum performing space. Measure your stage or platform! No guessing please! The area must be level, and must be clear of all obstructions. |
Green room | It is more comfortable for us and for your guests if you provide at least one separate room for us to store our personal items and change costumes. Please make sure that there is at least one mirror with reasonable lighting. |
Power | Campanile is an amplified show. We may provide our own sound system, however we must have a 2 grounded power sources: one within 50 feet of the rear of the stage, and the other either at the front of the stage or within 50 feet of the back of the house. |
Additional equipment |
Although not absolutely necessary, Campanile would like to make use of some
additional equipment you likely have in your theatre. Please let us know if you have a drum riser. 4'X8'X18" is good. We also like to use a keyboard riser if possible. 4'X8'X12". Please let us know if you have fly bars available for our use. We bring our own set and like to use it if facilities permit. For the "Nocturnal Journeys" show, a lectern or sturdy conductor's stand is very useful. |
Lights & Sound | Contact Roger Bowerman to discuss what sound and lighting systems you have. Our show uses amplified sound as an integral part of the show. While we bring all of our own sound equipment, there are times when it is advantageous to use portions or all of the house sound system for the best audio performance. In addition, our performance is enhanced by lighting, but we need to know the quantity and quality of the lighting before we get to the house. |
Access |
For full concerts Campanile must have access to the venue and tech crew a minimum of 3 hours before curtain time, and 4 hours is preferable. Campanile can strike and load out within one hour of final curtain. Please let us know if there are more than 3 steps up from the loading dock to the stage. If so, it would be much appreciated if you can find some burly helpers. We have nearly 2000 pounds of equipment to load in. |
Campanile can perform outside if necessary, but we cannot perform in extreme cold, heat, rain or wind. | |
Please don't hesitate to call if you have any questions or problems. Please contact Roger Bowerman at 818-419-3167 (cell) for more information. |
